Employer of the Year 2006

Winner: EON Visual Media

EON has worked with the Hull ITeC since January 2002.  Eon Media specialises in visual communication solutions such as Training and Marketing Videos as well as interactive and graphics based business solutions. Almost half of EON’s workforce is made up of apprentices who have achieved or are on target to achieve. At EON they dedicate time and resources to ensure the apprentice’s skills are continually improved which also involves externally courses.   They are made to feel a part of the organisation and given a wider understanding of issues which affect the business. Eon Media Managing Director, Matt Dass on receiving the award said “The ITeC apprenticeship scheme has given us a reliable and effective method of recruiting young people and staff with the necessary basic skills and equally importantly the right attitude to work, as such I would highly recommend the scheme to other employers in Hull.”
