Full-time and Part-time NVQ Courses

If you are aged 16 to 24 years of age you can apply for a full time apprentice programme where learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time.

There are different levels of Apprenticeship available, but they all lead to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Key Skills qualifications and, in most cases, a technical certificate such as a BTEC or City & Guilds.

If you are not eligible for an apprenticeship programme or want to study part-time for an NVQ you can still do this with the ITeC.

A programme of study will be arranged with yourself to meet your individuals needs and the time you have available to study. The level will be agreed with yourself and the assessor once we have have identified your training needs.

If you are new to the area you may start at Level 1 but if you have all the skills and want your skills and knowledge accrediting it may be you will start at Level 3.

The length of time it will take will depend on your existing skills and how much time you can spend working on your qualification.
