Work placements -
Work Experience
As part of the Apprenticeship programme all learners are placed
with an employer to apply the skills they have learnt in the
centre and to further develop their skills to achieve their
qualifications.
Whilst on placement with an employer learners are in continual
contact with the ITeC, through one of our members of staff. The
staff are responsible for monitoring progress and helping
the learner to develop through on the job and off the job
training at the centre through day release. All further training
and development is agreed between ITeC staff, the learner and
employer to meet the needs of the learner, the employer and
their training programme.
