Inspection Results

In November 2006 our training provision was inspected by the ALI who found the overall effectiveness of HCCT to be good.

The report stated that leadership and management are good as are our arrangements for quality improvement.

Equality of opportunity is outstanding. Provision is good in Engineering and Sign making, in ICT – Practitioner and User, Administration, and in preparation for life and working (includes Catering & Hospitality).

Youth Enterprise Conference - Nov 06

The first Post 16 Youth Enterprise Conference was held at the KC stadium on the 16th Nov 06 as part of Youth Enterprise week. Find out more.

Advanced Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony - October 06

The first Advanced Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony was held at the Hull City Hall in October 2006. Advanced Apprentices who had completed the previous year attended the ceremony to celebrate their achievements.  For details on the ceremony click here.

Apprentices visit Liverpool - June 06

For 2 days during June 6 apprentices from the ITeC accompanied by staff went to visit Liverpool and visited the home of the Beatles.

Apprentices visit Bruges - March 06

For 3 days during March 6 apprentices from the ITeC accompanied by staff went to visit Bruges on North Sea Ferries.

ITeC Website - March 06

The new ITeC website was redesigned and launched during March 2006.  If you have any comments please let us know or if you feel that there is additional information which would be useful.  We will be adding further features and resources throughout the year.

Apprentice and Learner of 2006 Awards

The awards are to recognise the achievements of young people on training programmes with the Hull ITeC. There are 3 categories:

• Apprenticeship

• Advanced Apprenticeship

• Personal achiever 16-18 year olds
